I've always loved words, stories, books, reading and writing. As is sometimes the way in life, my journey to writing was not a direct route. I've kept up with writing here and there over the years but finally decided to make those childhood dreams a reality. I have recently published the first in a growing series of children's books, and have plans for other ages and genres. The Lizzy Longhorn adventures have just begun! With a heart for public education and a passion for empowering young girls, Mary Margaret has spent her career championing confidence, curiosity, and courage in the classroom. Her special mission? To help girls fall in love with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and believe there's no limit to what they can achieve.
Whether she's crafting stories that spark imagination or guiding students through essays and experiments, Mary Margaret is driven by a desire to make a lasting impact. Her work is more than a profession to her, it's a calling.

Heather Young
Heather is a mother of three, a coach’s wife, and a professional with a busy work life. Above that, she is a Christian woman stepping into a calling. It’s Ballpark Day, Hooray! is her debut children’s book and the beginning of a heartfelt series created to help families see God’s presence in everyday moments. She hopes her stories inspire children to notice the little gifts woven into each day.
